Encore Audio Visual Information

Encore St Kilda Beach has engaged RTR Productions to manage the audio visual requirement for the function space. A range of high end equipment has been installed and is suitable for all events from weddings and parties to conference and corporate events. It is a requirement of the City of Port Phillip that all functions use this in house equipment.


The Encore function space is divided into three zones each of which have discreet installations of Nexo PS15 audio systems powered by Camco amplifiers. When more than one zone is used the systems combine and are set-up to handle any configuration including delaying zone C if needed. 18″ sub bass speakers are provided in Zones A+B only.

As a minimum bands and DJ’s are to use this existing speaker system, which will be facilitated by a technician from RTR Productions. Bands and DJ’s can provide their own DJ equipment, mixing desks, fold back speakers and microphones as they choose or they can engage RTR Productions to supply it for them. Stereo patch points are located throughout the venue, and RTR will faciliate the connection of your equipment into the house system.

A wireless handheld microphone is available for every event no matter how many zones that event uses.

RTR Productions have also installed a 5500 ANSI lumen projector into each zone along with a motorized 100″ screen, these projectors and screens can be used independently or linked as desired.

Included with the standard in-house audio visual system is:

  • 2 x 18″ Sub Speakers (Zones A+B only)

  • Shure Wireless Microphone
  • ipod or laptop audio input
